Have you ever checked out Etsy? I love, love, love Etsy! I have got to show you something......I purchased one of these for my daughter for Valentines Day. How is everyone today? We are busy sorting through old inventory and making room for new inventory.   We've always been interested in keeping sought after items in stock and restocking as well as getting new collections in constantly - as they become available. So, in keeping with that we just restocked Tim Holtz tissue tape. Have you ever tried?   Let me know what you have used them for? Would love to see a photo.  We also also offering them at 20% off! A little adjustment for me....

Happy Wednesday Friends!   It's the first of February!   Here in western Pa though.....ahhh, it feels a little like the beginning of March - or at least what we like it to feel like the beginning of March!!

I know it's been an exciting week for anyone involved in the craft, scrapbooking, paper crafts business! SOOOO many new product lines to scour over. I have spent hours and hours of time looking!   I hope you'll be pleased at our choices! I hope you will give us the pleasure of serving you!

Our first selection arrived.....Little Yellow Bicycle Paradise collection (previous post). I have been sorting the paper out and packaging it up. I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of the paper. It's like wallpaper! It is definitely high end!

So...now I am going to completely change gears here. I was doing a devotion last night (or I should day...very early this morning) and it really touched me. It helped me make a little adjustment. Galatians 1:10.

Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ

How refreshing to be reminded to keep our focus on him. Nice and simple!

These last two weeks have been so crazy busy ....and I am grateful for these few words.

Hi there - Happy Saturday to you! it's been awhile since we've posted....but, .....it's time! Things are gearing up here for CHA ...and we thought we could better use the blog to communicate with you on what is going on, what is coming in and how things are going! Sound good?

So, let's get started......today we are making available glitz newest collection. We have both the 12x12 papers and also the 6x6 paper pads. The embellishments for these kits will not be available for a few weeks...but you can get your hands on the paper now. Also - we restocked both 12x12 papers and embellishments for the Vintage Blue collection. And guess what? they made a 6x6 paper pad in the Vintage Blue line!!

We've been hearing about it for a long time....we've been seeing them for a long time....and now....they are HERE! That's right! Tim Holtz District Market place items are here. They are beautiful. I was so very pleased when I could actually see and touch them. The pictures do not do them justice! I plan on using these items for my Christmas list this year! They are great! My Inspiration.....

What inspires you? I love taking photo's. I love scrap booking....BUT, I never really had an interest until my kids came along! Until I knew I wanted to record their lives so they could have a record of what things were like. I felt I was given the job of being my families record keeper. To record all the ways God met us - answered us....poured out his grace on us. Family is important to me......it means the most to me! I have 3 beautiful kids - ranging from 14 - 3 ~ which makes constant comedy! Just today my youngest, Ella (3) stood on the legs of two chairs and lifted herself up. She said, "I am so big" - the look on her face was priceless. The first thought through my head was "I want to remember that look" SO, what inspires me?.....they do....

I love Prima...I usually love all Prima...I just don't even know if I have ever come across a prima I didn't like.....BUT, I LOVE this mulberry paper! We're loading up....that's right! Hold onto your hats! It's that time of the year! Boxes and boxes and boxes!! So much stuff....good stuff! Doesn't it seem no matter what happens in the world....we still want to treasure our memories. We are going to be making a ton of new items available for you to do that! As well as get a jump start on some handmade gifts! Have you ever thought about having a handmade Christmas? I think I am heading there this year. I like the thought of simplicity! That's what I think of when I think of a handmade Christmas....simple!
Here is what I know for sure: We are receiving 284 pounds of BoBunny, also - more Ranger and Simple Stories. This week we will also be adding additonal 7 Gypsies and Maya Road. New Acrylic Stamp blocks

I know, I know....it's August...much to my surprise (refer to previous post)! But, still some time Left to enjoy before the schedule of fall falls into place.   I have kids ~ 3 kids actually. So, yes, the end of summer symbolizes - schedules, schedules and schedules. My son's an ice hockey player. Yesterday his fall schedule arrived - regular 3 a week practices start this week.....blah!

Anyhoo.....I love, love, love the evenings of summer! For the past few years summer has always been quit a stressful time. My husband always seemed to be transitioning jobs in the summer. This year, I am happy to report....I think he is finally settled! I just need to get my mind to believe we are settling in!   It has been a few rocky years....could we be entering a new season?    Hmmmmm.....

Today happens to be my dads birthday! Happy Birthday Dad. Right now he is sitting on the beach in Florida - letting the breeze blow!   So happy for him!

Onto art stuff....we have been updating the store almost daily with new items. We now have in stock: Lots of Ranger new releases: Distress stains, white cap alcohol ink, Liquid pearls Mists, Surfaces products (tags, ATC etc.)

Plus we just added a whole line of Acrylic blocks from Donna Salazar and many items to alter from 7 Gypsies.

Lots of stuff to get your imagination rolling along!!

Maya Road Binder update and a Tom Holtz Ranger sneak peak!

Hey there....how's it going today? We have a rainy day here in Western Pa....but truthfully...it was needed!! I am working today with my two favorite girls by my side....Ella - my 3 year old dancing queen and Marcia...my can't live without her 14 year old side kick!! Dom - my 10 year old had an opportunity to go to the ice rink for some stick time with his dad. SO, I am scrambling to do some important stuff today. I just placed an order for a Maya Road retailers kit. I'll post some pictures with this blog so you can take a look. It's great!! I love kits - with everything I need to make me look like a creative genius without all the work!! Also - and this is what some have been waiting to here....Maya Road is telling me that the 6x6, 4x4 and 8x8 chipboard binders are in stock.....we've ordered and they will be on their way soon!!!

The other much talked about product just had it's sneak peak today from Ranger! Snow Cap Adirondack Mixative. It will be available for Pre order soon. As soon as I have an idea as to when it will arrive - I'll send an alert.

Didn't I ever tell you how much I love my job? Yesterday a whole new shipment of products arrived.....lots of fresh boxes full of excitement!! A food critic

I work ...alot....Probably more than the average person. The reason I can do that....is that most of the time I LOVE what I do! Working so much, as well as raising 3 children, having a husband and a home make for one busy cookie. So, I do allow myself a few perks. The two main perks: a housekeeper and I eat out or have take out .....ALOT!! I love to cook!! Love, love, love it!!! I have a huge collection of recipe books that I just love to read the way someone else reads a romance novel! But, time right now - just doesn't allow the time needed to find a recipe, make a shopping list and find the items at the grocery store. Then read a recipe while I am making the food. If I cook right now - I am usually juggling a few other things at the same time.....so following a recipe would be quit a challenge!

Hmmm, I got a little off track there.....needless to say I eat other people's food ALOT!! It's a pleasure....some people go out and sit at bars all night long...ME? well, I like sitting at a table, chit chatting and enjoying food!!
So, right now - I am enjoying some white pizza. I have not eaten white pizza in maybe 15 years! I recently was diagnosed with severe Iron def. anemia. SO, I am beginning to build my system back up which leads me to unusual food cravings lately. Tonight - it was a white pizza! I wanted one from Vallozzi's - but they weren't open - so we went for Pizza Siena. There aren't to many late night choices on a Sunday around this town. So - the white pizza.....great! Nice garlic taste and a fresh pizza dough. No complaints here. I only had one piece when it was fresh - but after I finished working for the day I thought I'd microwave a piece (normally I would reheat in the oven.....but it is almost 2 am ~ so - microwave it is) and guess what....it was still great! You know - usually a pizza dough gets funny when it's microwaved.....but this held up! Tomatoes were tasty on the cheese! All in all....great alternative to pizza....great taste ...I give Pizza Sienna a thumbs up for the medium white pizza (didn't fair so well on the salad I got the other day - but that's for another day!!)

Hi there everyone...how's it going? I don't know about where you are - but here in Western Pa we are having an extended Winter season. I just checked the 10 day forecast....not a shiny yellow ball in site! But , that does leave more time for being inside and digging through stashes of goodies. Pink Paislee....let it be SPRING!

I don't know if it's spring where you are but here is Western Pennsylvania the cold temps are holding on for dear life. The next 5 days are still winter temps. There is definitely more sunshine and more daylight but we're missing the warmer temps. But, in the shop.....we'll it's spring in here. There are so many products arriving that just says SPRING all over them. They are so refreshing....such a pick me up! Today we finished unpacking our Pink Paislee order. Some items have already sold out....but plenty remain. Take a look....and tell me the Butterfly Garden collection doesn't make you long for warm temps and warm summer breezes!!

The new year is in full swing here....holiday's decorations are packed away....hearts in red and pink are on our minds!!! I actually keep two trees up year round...one on the top floor of the house and one on the main level of the house. So, from season to season or holiday to holiday - we decorate the trees. While looking at a local country store the other day - I noticed they had already decorated their country trees for Valentines day! SO I thought - maybe I'll pick up some new ornaments for my TREES OF LOVE!!! Guess what some of the deoration were: Paper hearts hung by wire and gift boxes! Soooo - I wasn't about to pay $5.00 for one treat box when I knew where I could get a whole set of 5 for the same amount and make them myself! I just needed a little inspiration! Simple, Simple, Simple right!!

Well....if you are begining to think of reds, pinks and white....I found some simple, easy ways to prepare for a little gift (treat) giving!! (or if you are like me...I'll use them to decorate my trees until I need to pack them up!)

It's a NEW YEAR!!

I don't really set resolutions for the new year...but I always seem determined to try and "get my act together". It 's a new page kind of thing. Every year right after Christmas my parents have the opportunity to go live in Florida for a few months...regardless of how much I pout....this is one pleasure they are determined to do every year. Since we are not togetherer to celebrate the New Year - I always look for my card in the mail from my mom. I'm always looking forward to the words she'll have for us and the coming year. This year was no exception. The card came a few days ago. I keep reading the words...wanting them to be burnt into my brain. My mom always seems to have just the right things to say:

2011: Our lives are an open book to God.

Don't just go through the motions of life. Understand you don't have to have something extraordinary happening in your life to be happy or excited!
Simplify, organize every area of your lives.
Trust God to direct your path and to cause you to be right where you need to be at the right time.
Lighten up and enjoy each day. Keep a good attitude in the midst of the chaos and confusion.

Gosh...I have 3 kids here at home ranging from 13 to age 2. The excitement of the holiday's are beginning to build!! It gets so exciting. Growing up, I can remember my grandmother listening to Christmas Carols from Halloween on. My birthday happens to be Dec.3rd so it has always been a tradition to have the Christmas trees up by my birthday which usually means Thanksgiving weekend. SO, I am in a mad rush to begin getting the house ready!! It's the one time that the kids gladly co-operate with the cleaning and organizing plans!! To add to the excitement - my father is taking us all on a vacation right after Thanksgiving!! My kids are coming out of their skin!!

So - on my list of things to do: Christmas cards!! and some handmade gifts!! I believe my choice this year will be a 7Gypises photo carousel holder and some Bo Bunny Canvas Class project. As far as cards....well.. not sure! I may have to use one of the Bo Bunny card kits...maybe from the new line! Or, I may choose a fantastic stamp from Stampavie and make a simple card!

Whatever excitement this time of year brings for you - or whatever way you celebrate the beautiful season....enjoy!

Ki Memories have really come out with some unique items this go around! They are some of my favorite this season. Of course there is the fabulous, high quality glitter paper and also those fabulous Keepsake pockets in a variety of sizes and colors....but, (drum roll please....) I LOVE the calendar die cut pages. I know, I know....it's been tooo long! The store has been so busy...products in, products out.....we try to be the fast and furious so some things get left on the side of the road....such as this blog! But, today I realized....it's 60 days until Christmas. Yep, 60 days!!! Made me think...is anyone doing a December Daily album this year? You know...the album Ali Edwards puts together and features on her blog?
Every year I dream of doing this record keeeping keepsake.....but lack of time prevents it. Do you get to Scrapbook, craft or alter items as often as you would like? That's a BIG fat no on my end!! It's funny ~ my love for the hobby started the business.....then the hobby got pushed to the side!!!

Sooo many products.....only soo much time!! That's right....UPS is a constant right now and we're loving it!! I love going through all the new products and gettng to imagine all the things I am going to do with them from Project ideas to recording memories!! Time is at a premium these days! We have 3 children hanging around this joint. I have a 2 year old daughter, 9 year old son and also a 13 year old daughter. Soooo, the memory recording is piling up! I actually get anxious when I think of it! Will I remember the memories when I finally have time to record them? Right now....just to organize my crafting room would be a treat!!!

Hello summer.....I feel I am behind schedule. You arrived a tad early this year ~ though I am not complaining! Cushions need to come out, pool needs some tweaking, Dom still has an evaluation, Finals for Marcia haven't been completed, fenced need fixed ~ even the screens for the doors have not been repaired yet......garden...you guessed it - I still haven't got the garden planted yet!! But, rumor has it that Idlewild opens tomorrow....so I'll meet you there summer! I guess I better get busy today!

homeschooling.....really???

My kids have never gone to traditional school. My oldest is 13 - my youngest is two and in between there I have wonderful 9 year old son. They've never gone to a traditional school....yep! That's right! I have bucked against society on this! Why? Well, I could try to attempt to give you some story about not wanting the government to dictate what my children will learn or I could say - it's our local school system or...and the reasons could go on and on! But, the truth is.....it's just not that dramatic. Two factors help decide it for me: Ever since my daughter was a few years old I would sit and read and do fun things with her. I realized she was learning! And, secondly ~ my husband has always worked irregular hours. He always works Saturday's and always has a day off in the week. On some days he leaves at 8 or so in the morning and doesn't return until 9 or later in the evening. He used to travel quit a bit. I decided if I kept Marcia home - she would see her father more and we could just travel along with him when he had to go away. SO, my mind was made up! It was that simple! Time! All I wanted was more time. Time to be a family! Homeschooling gave us that. Pretty simple huh? I could do what they do at school just here at home.

I had the privilege of teaching my children to read! That was exciting!

We take it year by year! I did enroll my kids in a distance learning school with a set grade level curriculum and tests etc. We are held accountable to them. As life goes on we make changes according to what the needs are: for instance when I started a business I knew my time was not as abundant as I would like so I hired someone to teach my children two days a week. When I was expecting our third child - we worked through the summer and very far ahead - to be able to take it easy once the new baby came. When math was more than I could explain - it was time for a full time tutor. When subjects became advanced - for us it was time to Cyber school.

Currently - Marcia is cyber schooling and Dom is homeschooling....but leaning towards cyber schooling for next year.

Now - the BIG question.....what about the socialization? I actually read a comment from someone on facebook that said "if I wanted my child to be a hermit I'd homeschool them" Seriously????? I was so offended by that....until I took a step back and realized that ignorance is where that comment comes from.
My children are socialized and extremely polite to people of all ages. I have had numerous comments out in public concerning their behavior. My daughter is a gymnast, and a wanna be actress. My son is very athletic and involved in anything I will let him do. Out lives are immensely full with activities and people. If socialization means locking them into a building for 8 hours a day with hundreds of people within 3 years of their age...well then I have missed the boat on that one. But, when again in life will that occur??????

So, we aren't normal...but who is. My family's decision to homeschool has helped me have more compassion on someone that doesn't seem to be like me.....that has had to make some tough choices - be them popular or not! If I don't understand something I reserve judgement and educate myself.

We're just a family ~ doing what we think is best for us! (plus spending our winter's in Florida is a pretty nice perk!!!)

A week in my life...

I woke up this morning thinking about a passage in the Bible ~ Jeremiah 29:11 ~ where it says that "God knows the plans he has for me ~ to prosper me and not to harm me ~ to bring me a hope and a future" I always think on this passage but today I was thinking....if he knows this - then he knows my schedule, he knows my perceived time restraints. Is it possible that I am adding tooo much to my day. Forgetting the simple, easy things....and just squeezing in way to much! If he already has plans....why am I pushing the envelope so much!!!! Day in and day out for a few months - at the end of the day - I think "WOW - I didn't get out my camera today" and I become a little sad because time is passing sooo quickly. I think this week - I need to re~ adjust! Time to step back and get rid of some junk! Simplify yet again. Stop stressing the small stuff and remember HE knows the plans he has for me! I don't need to push sooo hard towards success ~ HE's my business partner! I think in the week ahead I am going to get out my camera and I am going to record our week! Someday...it won't be like this! The kids won't be sitting at the school table at 9 in the morning....Ella won't say a cheery HELLO MOM when I open her bedroom door. Man - will I miss those times!!

Last week I picked up this little book for me ~ my husband spotted it and agreed - we would do this together. It's The Love Dare....from the movie Fireproof. We did the first dare.....it is suppossed to take 24 hours....it took us a little longer than that to perfect it. This will be an interesting journey! But, anything that can remind us of our love is a good thing. Sometimes we take the things right next to us for grant it!

Ahhh - the sun is out today.....we have not seen it for a very long time. Makes me think of spring and all things green (along with mud of course...comes with the territory when you live on a farm!)

More Bo Bunny for PRE Order....

We just listed the final two collections from Bo Bunny ~ Paradise and Rough' it! Both lines are super fantastic! Paradise makes me want to take a fabulous trip somewhere warm....considering all we are seeing aare cloudy, snowy days in Western Pa. Bo Bunny is due to arrive sometime in March. Some lines are already extremely limited!

Also - we've been asked...Are you going to be carrying Tim Holtz new line of Sizzix......A definite YES is our answer....every new item is ordered!!!!!

Love is still in the air! I had such a nice Valentines Day...except for the fact that one of my little ones was away. Dominic had a hockey tournament in New York. Because of schedule conflicts both Jeff and I were not able to go...so we thought Dom would be staying home. But, one of his fellow team mates offerred to let hinm tag along with them. So - he was off - for 3 nights. Oouuuii! He comes home today...and I am anxiously waiting!

In the meantime.....we have listed some of Jenni Bowlin's new products. They are already low in stock...if you miss something - email me - I'll get it back in!

Hi there - I love Monday's and what a beautiful Monday it is. The kids, Jeff and I had a great weekend. Dom's team won their hockey game, great test results came for Dominic's state testing! (woot-woot!) and Jeff and I had some time to ourselves last night while Sammy came and sat with the kids! Just feeling very refreshed today! Ahhhhhhh ~

Great news today for my crafting buddies! We just added Queen and Co's new Holiday/Christmas/Winter line to the store! Inexpensive embellishments to add to your projects. Quanities are limited so pick them up!

Oh yes ~ before I go ~ a gentle reminder:

Okay, okay... wait till you see this line. I do not think I have ever seen such a high quality of products in a long time! Little Yellow Bicycle has produced a gorgeous line this holiday season! It's called 25 days of Christmas. It's fabulous ~ with sooo mnay items that can be put together - plus a Countdown calendar project and Holiday ~ Christmas Scrapbook. Just beautiful. Welcome November! it's cool out today but the sun is shining! Yeah! Well, our house seems to be on it's way back to recovery. Sick germs be gone!

As for the crafters out there.....drum roll.....we just added a new line to our online stores....Inkadinkado! Yep, we will carry their brand for you ....as always...below retail!

We also added K&Company's Brenda Walton Evergreen collection as well as restocking many K& Company favorites.

After get all paid orders out today we'll work on finishing up the K& Company inventory - then (another drum roll please...) we will stock Little Yellow Bicycle' fabulous Holiday line!

YEah ~ it;s Monday! I love Mondays. A new start each week. Grant it...my new start - started a little slower than I wanted! I definitely need more time in my day! But, that being said.....I move on! Monday, Monday...isn't that a song! My project for the week? (besides continuing to list new items in the store...) is to clean out my old office. It is my craft, scrap rom now and there is no space to craft nor scrap and my creative mind is going crazy. Do you realize there are only 74 more days till Christmas.......yep, only 74 more days!!!!!! Actually at this moment it is

Been sooo busy lately. What's up....let's bullet it real quick:

Parents home from Africa and Florida (yee haw!)
New business venture in process......exhausting on the brain ~ but different and exciting)
trying to figure out how to start a different business project......just need a day to myself I think!)
trying to find time to order new products! start lists over and over gain....but can't seem to finish!
Dominic's hockey team went to Ohio Friday through Saturday and brought home the gold in their tournament
Marcia had DRAMA try outs on Saturday
Working out the bugs with Marcia's new CYBER school adventure
Homeschooling Dominic started full force beginning of September
20 month old decides to tease me about sitting on the potty every 10 minutes
and somewhere between all that...laundry, gymnastics, hockey practice, business, house cleaning.....eating, getting dressed ...you get the picture right??????

We had a fabulous weekend! The to do list was building at the house.....boy was it ever...so my dear hubby finally decided to play catch up. Toilets, broken TV's, furnace filters etc. Whew! Love the feeling after days where a few things get done. It feels like things are just a bit more under control!

I also got to take a run....love that! With a new pair of running shoes. My feet had been hurting me so I decided it was time for a new pair. After I put the new pair on I realized...I needed a new pair quit a while ago!!!!!

Then the evening ended with dinner at the in laws! And, in the middle of all that I shippedo ut about $1600.00 worth of orders! GREAT, Great day!

Oh yea.....heard from my dad. They are back from Africa and resting in Florida for a couple of days before heading home! Miss them!

It's going to be a long weekend listing new items....Boxes are piling up plus more on the way. SO, this weekend we will be catching up. Along with new items - hopefully I can catch up on listing some clearance items. They are hear in boxes but not listed on ebay yet.....so exciting to get these items out to you!

What do we have new? 7 Gypsies, Little Yellow Bicycle, Basic Grey, Stampevie stamps...yep! (isn't that exciting!), Making memories, Tim Holtz and more! Whew!...must get to work!

Also - this weekend we will be placing our first order with EK Success - including Inkadinkado, Martha Stewart and Jolee....woo hoo! They told me we should have our items in a short period of time!

I wish I could say the not knowing inspires me, but the truth is most of the time it leaves me feeling one part crazy and another part terrified. To not know is our truest state, though we do whatever is necessary to fool ourselves or forget. Every truly wonderful thing that has ever happened to me has come from a space of not knowing. And every incidence of pure magic followed when I was convinced there was no way to know at all.
I’ve always thought of myself as someone of faith, taking big risks and attempting impossible things is often my matter of course. I often think that if I had even a little bit of more confidence divine intervention, I could take on my adventures with more peace in my heart or at least a dose of genuine joy. Instead, I jump, assuming at the end there will be a hard crash into concrete, but knowing there’s no life for me in avoiding the cliffs. Overcome with a resigned kind of terror, I take the dive, hoping for some miracle in the end, but willing to take the consequences if there’s not.
It’s only when I get close to bottom do I feel the weight of the little faith I do have. It’s only when sure and sudden disaster is in sight do I get a glimmer of hope that it will work out after all.
I don’t know why it works this way for me, but I’m starting to realize being willing to be terrified, being aware of not knowing and jumping anyway might be the definition of faith after all. That faith might be…
living in the world the way that you want it to be more than calculating the way the world is.
wanting to take the risk to create a new possibility, just in case something strange and unheard of can come into being simply because you dared to hope it could exist.
understanding you could be exposed as over-reaching or stupid or foolish and accepting that’s worth the chance of finding out you are not.
embracing a view of the world that welcomes people who dare and refuses to punish those who are willing to be confused and disoriented in pursuit of something tender, something honest, something true.
taking a gentle view of your longings and believing that everything unfolds, always and always, exactly as it should with all that yearning held close and not forgotten.
Of course, it’s also possible that these are the hallmarks of mental illness (fingers crossed) but I can think of few remarkable people on this earth who weren’t considered seriously flawed or slightly insane for choosing the path less traveled.

Grateful for a change of plans

Yesterday was my dad's birthday. I was unable to spend any time with him because Marcia had a gymnastics picnic at Idlewild and then I had Kidzone in the evening. I was bummed out and a bit hurt when I discovered my family was all taking my dad out for dinner to his favorite Italian restuarant. So I pouted.....only to discover a few hours later that the gym my brother goes to...every evening around 7-9pm....was terrorized by a mass murderer. I quickly became very thankful that my family continued with their plans eventhough I could not be apart of them. Thank you Lord for changing plans and keeping my family in tact and safe.

My baby is 19 months old. Really beginning to communicate and show herself. A friend of mine has just recently had a baby. So, I knew it was the perfect oppurtunity to clear out some baby gear......but gosh it was hard.....why is it we want to hang onto that stuff? I know I am done having babies. I know I will never again need that bassinet. Why is it soooo hard? It took me forever to finally go up into that attic and pull all that stuff down. I know I'll feel good about it later but for know.....let me pout!

I watched Oprah today. I need to admit...I am not always a big fan of Oprah...sometimes I think she's way out there. I often turn her off because she just doesn't seem to get it sometimes! As my husband say.....a a watch with two faces...doesn't know the time!
But anyway.....today 's show had an interesting thought. Basically...it is time to simplify! Yep, less toys, less computer, less cell phones, less stuff, less food.....back to the basics! Back to family time....things of value! A BIG shout out to simplifying! As a homeschool mom I need to say there are times I just get plan tired and enjoy the fact that the TV is a babysitter but , my kids do not seem to "think" to pick up a book, start a craft....challenge themselves...it's too easy to watch TV, get on the computer. It seems anything creative needs to come from me ~ a thought I dropped in their head!

It's time....time to get back to the basics!
